垃圾填埋场建成投产后，渗滤液调节池的渗滤液会产生恶臭，严重污染空气，为了减少和收集沼气需要将调节池上部加一个盖子，一是可以收集气体便于处理，二是可以防止雨水进入渗滤液调节池内，增加渗滤液处理的成本，综上，渗滤液调节池应该选用2.0mmHDPE土工膜进行覆盖，在HDPE土工膜上面或者下面焊接泡沫塑料利于土工膜上下浮动。泰安市瑞恒土工材料有限公司生产HDPE土工膜产品，也承接HDPE土工膜的焊接施工。
